About Us Gontex is a Company that unites the experience of 40 years of existence in the market for the design, manufacturing and commercialization of children and youth's apparel.
Gontex has distinguished itself for manunfacturing excellent quality products with the best designs, reinforcing these competitive advantages with a wide variety of products, the application of both knitwear and fabric in the designs and its concepts of collection. Gontex distribution net consists of 11 sales representatives covering all the Mexican territory. Additionaly, the Firm operates 4 self-owned boutiques and franchises 7 more.
We have worked as contractors for companies such as Benetton and Prenatal, besides other national brands. Tejidos Orossi is a Gontex's filial company which owns a very versatile technology, being able to produce in 5", 7", 8" and 10" gauges. Orossi can knit almost any kind of knits such as Jaquard, aran and links-links. Our company is currently implementing the international quality system ISO-9001. We now have and AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) of 2.5% in process, which is satisfactory by international standards. Confecciones

company was founded by its current CEO, Mr. Guillermo González López,
manufacturing and commercializing cardigans and jerseys for ladies,
gentlemen and children. The Gontex trademark has been used since 1975. In
1990, Gontex redefined its commercial strategy focusing in the children
and youth's apparel market.
The
administrative structure, constituted by the General Direction and the
Design, Operations, Production, Sales, Marketing and Administrative
Management, joins a skilled, predominantly young, human team.
